Yesterday glenbrae school had its Duffy Role Model assembly our Role Model  SAM James verlinden. He is also known as SAM v. SAM v is famous as a musician,songwriter,singer and actor.

Sam spoke to us about the important of books and reading because he felt that these were the things which help them become a successful musician

Sam studied at the Auckland university of technology  and attained a botrelous  degree and communication. We had a lot of fun with SAM because he taught us a game called boom fa after the game SAM gave out the Duffy books.

I felt very excited SAM sang his favourite song what’’ you have done for me.

a great water fun day

Friday the 8th of February we had water fun day. room Ten started off with the water slide. And everybody else went on something else the water slide was my favourite thing out of all of the other things because you get to slide down really fast and you'll be at your bin super fast it is easy and hard the easy part is you can go fast but the water will come out of the container because it has holes in it.

Our second game was walk the plank I kind of like this game I was in the nikau house. We walk on a bench then pick up a cup fill it up the run to your house bins. the cup on this activity does not have hole so that makes It easy.

This game was super fun but tiring at the same time I made me get a stitch you pick buddies I went with Tristan we link arms get water and run run run ! go go go ! people zoom! Past when we go to our bins.

We had two more games to finish zig zag and the sponge  game.

my best weekend

On monday It was a beautiful sunny day. We went down to my cousins house.there names are joseph and izaea. We were shy when we walked into there house we didn't know them until we got offered to play cards with them we played memory we started to play kicks then we started to play rugby.I was joseph and I vs Izaea and robert joseph kicked off I said WOW! That was a great kick joseph they caught the ball they ran  so fast I couldn't catch them the got the score It was one zero.

We had a bottle of water and continued with cards we played last card Couple of hours ago there was a car coming past with a boy inside. it was my other cousin rubin we went around to the warm place to have some chips there was doritos,spicy chips,prawn chips and popcorn YUMMY! That was so delicious apart from the prawn chips those taste YUCK! I tasted one prawn chip and it was so YUCK!

We walked back home with my grandma. we had to say bye to everyone first then we can walk home my grandma said. We said bye to everyone then we left BYE! Everyone we walked home and had a rest.we woke up
